Account Developer, Propane


WesternOne is currently looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to market WesternOne services to specific clients in the Edmonton region. As an Account Developer you are responsible for actively looking for clients within the Edmonton area and offering WesternOne solutions to new and existing customers as well as building and developing a pipeline of new prospects.

The Account Developer, Propane will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities through several different methods. If you are a savvy and a driven professional, confident in building key relationships with decision makers, and you are a self-starter with a proven track record of achieving measurable inside sales goals, then we want to hear from you!

  • Interact both over the phone and via email with key decision makers;
  • Acquire a complete knowledge of WesternOne solutions through internal training programs;
  • Contact potential customers in a systematic and professional manner;
  • Establish key contacts with industry leaders to maintain and grow knowledge of the market;
  • Seek out new opportunities within the Edmonton market and build on current relationships;
  • Report directly to the Branch Manager any changes to current accounts or new accounts you are looking to develop;
  • You are: people orientated - you can talk to people and build rapport, you are a go-getter, reliable, flexible, transparent and are diligent in your work. 



  • 1-3 years of inside sales experience required;
  • Customer service experience is an asset; 
  • Skilled at cold calling and prospecting to identify new business opportunities;
  • Ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customers;
  • An understanding of a common developmental cycle;
  • Excellent time management skills, while being highly organized and attentive to detail;
  • Dynamic and effective communication skills, written, verbal, and non-verbal;
  • Stellar interpersonal skills, especially effective listening & customer orientation;
  • Strong problem solving skills; must be able to analyze information to make independent decisions quickly and effectively;
  • Outstanding work ethic and high level of ambition;
  • A conscientious attitude about meeting expectations.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean abstract is required. 



WesternOne provides aerial lifts and temporary heat services. We service large scale construction projects, home builders, commercial constructors, industrial customers, movie customers and other speciality niches.
